We are a school. 10 of our students are interested in signing up for XMKC. Can they?

We are delighted that your students want to be a part of XMKC. At present we are unable to conduct this programme for fewer than 50 students in a school and fewer than 20 students per age division. We will soon be offering a fully online programme, which will be suitable for your students.

We are a school. We would like XMKC to train our quiz teams. Is that possible?

XMKC is a holistic allround knowledge development programme. It has been created for all school students, not necessarily those interested in quizzing. To answer your question, XMKC does not exclusively train quiz teams.

Question 3

I am not a quizzer. Why should I sign up for XMKC?

You should sign up for XMKC precisely for that reason. XMKC stands for Xpress Minds Knowledge Club. Knowledge goes beyond quizzing. In a world that is increasingly depending on online resources to access information, training our young minds to receive, process, assimilate and retain information is a precious skill.

Question 4

I am in class 10/11. We are XXX students. Can we join XMKC? How will you cater to our requirements?

At present XMKC is available only to students in classes 4-9. We will soon be offering a fully online programme, which will include classes 10-12 as well. Watch this space for updates!

We are participating in a quiz contest organised by XM. Will XMKC help us prepare for the quiz?

After all, you are conducting it.
We are delighted that you are participating in a quiz being conducted by XM. We must, however, point out that XMKC does not help students prepare for specific quizzes, regardless of who conducts the event.

Question 6

We’d like to sign up for XMKC, but we will get busy with other programs over the academic year. Can we do a few of the modules?

XMKC has been carefully designed keeping in mind school calendars, academic requirements and other activities. The number of modules that are part of the programme should not take up too much of your time, and we would encourage you to sign up, and take all the modules!

Question 7

How many modules do you offer under XMKC?

Accepted Answer

XMKC comprises a minimum of 16 modules, and a maximum of 20. Within this there are certain compulsory modules, whilst schools can choose the others from a range of modules.

Are the modules all connected to quizzing?

Accepted Answer

The modules are of 2 types- the majority are thematic and based on different subjects. A few, however, are based on the process of acquisition of knowledge and processing the same.

Can we customise the Knowledge Club modules?

We are happy you asked this question, because XMKC offers a combination of compulsory modules and a range of choices from which schools can choose other modules.

Question 10

50 students from our school are interested in XMKC, but one group has just 5 students. Please help!

Accepted Answer

In our experience, a class works best with around 20 students, which is why XMKC needs this number per age division. We could, in some cases, allow batches fewer than 20 students, please contact us for more information on this.
